The Nutrafin Calcium Test Kit allows you to monitor the calcium levels of your aquarium. Marine reef aquariums, especially those containing hard corals and strong growth of coralline algae absorb calcium at a rapid rate, often requiring daily testing to ensure that the calcium levels remain at an optimal level for the aquarium inhabitants. With the Nutrafin Calcium Test, you can easily ensure that your aquarium maintains proper calcium levels, and your fish are living in a healthy environment.
Salifert pH Profi-Test The pH value in a marine tank has a major impact on the growth of corals and calcareous algae and on many biological processes. The pH should not be allowed to fluctuate more than approx. 0.2 units during any 24 hour period and should preferably be kept above 8.2. If the pH is too low then the cause may be a too low alkalinity and/or a build up of carbon dioxide caused by insufficient aeration A low pH can be corrected by improving aeration and by increasing the alkalinity. The Salifert Test Kit is sufficiently accurate to monitor minor pH fluctuations and is scaled from pH 7.4-8.7. Sufficient for 50 tests. For marine water only.Warning!Keep out of reach of childrenInstructions: Add with syringe 5ml of water in the test tube. Add with the dropping bottle pH 4 drops and swirl gently for 10 seconds. Put the open test tube on the white part of the color chart. View from above and read the corresponding pH value. It might be possible that the color is in between two different ones, then the pH value is as well in between the two corresponding values.

Onyx Sand is a specially fracted, stable porous gravel for the natural planted aquarium. Being carbonate rich, Onyx Sand provides an advantage to any plants able to utilize bicarbonates. Although ideally suited to planted aquaria, it may be used in any aquarium environment. Onyx Sand is most effective when used alone as an integral substrate bed, but it may be mixed with other gravels. Gravel modifiers such as laterite are not necessary. Onyx Sand is not chemically coated or treated but does have a slight buffering capacity that may raise pH by 0.1 - 0.5 pH units (depending on source water characteristics).
Nutrafin's carbonate and general hardness test kit measures carbonate hardness (kh) and general hardness (gh) in fresh and saltwater aquariums. Carbonate hardness (kh) must be tested on a regular basis because it fluctuates over time and can negatively impact the ph balance of aquarium water. Low carbonate hardness will result in poor plant growth. Testing for general hardness (gh) should be done to determine if levels of calcium (ca) and magnesium (mg) are optimal for specific species of fish. The kit includes one 15-milliliter bottle of kh reagent, one 10-milliliter bottle of gh reagent, one glass test tube with cap, one pipette, one lab base, one instruction booklet. Measures 2-inch length by 5-1/2-inch width by 5-inch height.
The Nutrafin Iron Test Kit allows you to measure the iron level present in your aquarium. Iron levels need to be carefully monitored in order to maintain lush, planted aquariums. It is recommended to test iron with a frequency that will maintain the suggested iron level of 0.25 to 0.5 Mg/L. By using the Nutrafin Iron Test Kit you are able to help ensure a beautiful planted landscape in your aquarium.
The Nutrafin Phosphate Test Kit allows you to measure the phosphate level present in your aquarium. Phosphate levels should be monitored weekly. High levels of phosphate, often the result of overfeeding or infrequent water changes, can contribute to unsightly algae growth. Therefore, the phosphate levels should generally never exceed 1 Mg/L. The Nutrafin Phosphate Test Kit is the ideal way to monitor phosphate levels, ensuring your fish is provided with the most comfortable living environments.
The Nutrafin Nitrate Test Kit allows you to measure the nitrate level present in your aquarium. Nitrate should be tested on a regular basis as a measure of pollution in the aquarium and to determine if a water change is necessary. Nitrate accumulates in aquariums over a period of time and is difficult to remove by conventional filtration means.
