Tropic Marin ATM28070 Saltwater KH Test Kit for Aquarium
For the determination of the carbonate hardness or the alkalinity in seawater. The carbonate hardness or alkalinity corresponds to the buffer capacity of the aquarium water and therefore determines the stability of the ph-value in the water.
API's REEF Master Test Kit measures the most important aquarium levels in a Reef Aquarium. 4 different tests calibrated specifically for Reef aquariums are designed to protect reef-dwellers from dangerous water conditions. Tests include: Calcium, Carbonate Hardness (KH), Phosphate & Nitrate), 4 test tubes, tray.
Brightwell Aquatics 2 fl. oz. Garlic Power Concentrated Garlic Supplement for Marine Fishes, 60 mL
Brightwell Aquatics Garlic Power consists solely of the preserved extract of raw garlic. In aquaria, the use of garlic is often associated with improving the health of fishes, particularly in systems experiencing difficulty with parasites. Garlic has also been shown to motivate newly-added and/or finicky fishes to feed; this is accomplished by soaking food in a small amount of garlic extract for several minutes and then feeding, and the results are often very gratifying.
Brightwell Aquatics 17 fl. oz. Koralle-VM Vitamin and Mineral Supplement for Corals and Clams, 500 mL
Overview Unique vitamin and minor and trace element complex for establishing and replacing substances important to marine invertebrates, including corals, clams, and their allies; these substances are particularly important to biological reactions. Does not contain minor or trace elements notexpressly known to be utilized by marine organismsor take place in chemical interactions. Vitamins are present in ratios found in the tissues of filter-feeding marine invertebrates. Minor and trace elements are present in natural seawater ratios. Composed of purified water and ultra-high purity materials. Formulated by a marine scientist.Technical BackgroundKoralle-VM provides a host of minor and trace elements found by oceanographers to exhibit non-conservative behavior in seawater (meaning that they are depleted by biological and chemical reactions taking place within the photic zone) and that are safe for human handling. Elements are present in natural seawater ratios (i.e. the ratios in which they are present in seawater). Since they are not depleted by biological nor chemical interactions, no minor or trace elements that are not expressly needed by aquatic organisms are present in this product; this includes unnecessary elements such as lithium, rubidium, and molybdenum. Additionally, a full-complement of vitamins are present in the same ratios found in the tissues of filter-feeding marine invertebrates, organisms that extract plankton from the surrounding water and gain their nutritional benefit, and which are in turn consumed by many reef inhabitants. This logical blend of vitamins and minerals is of benefit to all marine aquarium inhabitants.Of the detectable elements in seawater, 11 are minor elements and 52 are trace elements. Between the two groups, at least 13 elements appear to be expressly-required for the growth of primary producers such as algae, and an additional 18 are either incorporated into living tissue/skeletal material or undergo chemical interactio
Brightwell Aquatics Reef Snow - Replicates Marine Snow in all Marine Aquaria 250mL / 8.5oz
• Complex of carbonate-bound, non-conservativemajor, minor, and trace elements in aragonite ratios,as well as marine-derived proteins and lipids in coraltissue ratios.• Simultaneously delivers appropriate inorganic andorganic nutrients required by stony corals, bothzooxanthellate and azooxanthellate soft corals, gorgonians, clams, tube worms, sponges, tunicates, and other suspension-feeding invertebrates forgrowth of both soft tissue and skeletal material.• Ideally fed at night when most corals extend theirtentacles for prey-capture.• Does not require refrigeration.• Formulated by a marine scientist.Liquid250-ml
Nitrate Profi-Test When there are insufficient areas of a tank which are deprived of oxygen (anaerobic zones) or denitrification is not taking place properly, nitrate will build up. This can also happen in an aquarium where the biological loading on the system is causing an imbalance e.g. if there is excessive livestock for the aquarium volume or over feeding is occurring. The build up of nitrate can result in unwanted algae growth and the slowing down of coral growth. The nitrate concentration in a reef aquarium should be lower than 1 mg/L, although fish only aquariums would usually have a higher concentration. Just as with nitrite, many nitrate test kits are prone to amine interference which can make the levels of nitrate appear much lower than they actually are. The Salifert test kit does not suffer from such interference and gives accurate and quick results with a total testing time of less than 3 minutes. The test kit's range goes from a very low to a very high nitrate concentration (approx. 0.2 - 100 mg/L as total nitrate). Sufficient for 50 tests. This test offers two ranges:Low range: 0.2 - 10 mg/L (ppm) as nitrate.Medium range: 2 - 100 mg/L (ppm) as nitrate.Clean test vial and scoop after use. Store this kit in a dry place.Warning!KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

ELOS AQUA TEST KIT- PHOSPHATEPhosphate (PO4) build up in aquariums appears to be a fairly common problem in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. They are present in most tap water supplies and are also introduced to aquarium water through fish waste, uneaten fish food, and decaying plant and invertebrate material. Hobbyists end up with rising levels of PO4, leading to the appearance of algae that start to cover the tank panes, the substrate and just about anything else in the tank. The maximum value of PO4 in an aquarium is 0.01 mg/l (ppm) for saltwater aquarium and for fresh water aquarium is 0.5 mg/l (ppm). In deeply planted aquarium the maximum level can achieve up to 1 mg/l (ppm). The periodical analytical evaluation of phosphate in the aquarium should be considered by the serious aquarium enthusiast. ELOS AquaTest PO4, as well as all the other colorimetric test kit of this line, grant very high precision thanks to several procedures like the use of ?RealColor? technology, an accurate system to calibrate the color chart compared to the reagents; the validation of each reagent with NIST (National Institute of Standard and Technology) certified samples and the careful stock management to supply to our customers ONLY the freshest production batch. Our PO4 test, allows the determination of the Phosphate down to a level of only 0.01 mg/l (ppm) Phosphate presence. HIGHLIGHTS: Easy reading: ?RealColor? technology. High precision: thanks to the use of calibrated droppers NIST validation: each batch of elos reagents is validated using NIST (National Institute of Standard and Technology) samples "Safe reagents": reagents and testing procedures are based on Low Risk Reagents. None of our test kit are based on Toxic Reagents.
